Greg, I saw you had a photo with 1/500 shutter. Your camera is definitely fast enough. If you pan, you don't even need that speed. Attached is a photo with only 1/125. Enjoy! - Li

My camera can reach as high as 1/1600, but I am so slow (or too fast) that some of my pictures even caught no horese at all :) - gh
